CSI: How STEM is Used to Solve Crimes

CSI Program
The National CSI hands-on virtual program will explore STEM principles relating to forensics and crime scene application. The presentation, labs and exercises will cover the following topics: Making a magnifying glass, taking, identifying and collecting fingerprints, creating and examining blood spatter patterns, identifying an unknown powder, chromatography, time of death exercises, casting footprints, and missing persons. Current or former law enforcement detectives will be teaching the class!

Program cost includes materials, a Certificate of Completion, and National CSI Camp swag!

             

Virtual Program:

           Materials will be available for pick-up at the Township Building the week before the program. The list of materials can be viewed below.     
           You must register 10 days prior to the start of the program in order to receive materials in time.
