Collaged & Decoupaged Boxes
In this class, participants will be given small wooden boxes that can be turned into treasure chests, gifts, or whatever you like! They will be decoupaged with decorative papers, painted, given handles, feet, or whatever the participant desires, that will turn them into works of art.
Sculptural Assemblages/Dolls
Have you ever tried making figurative sculptures out of recycled junk? In this class, participants can bring metal and plastic junk of their own or take from a stash that is provided. Hot glue, epoxy, and connecting stuff like rivets, brads, and nails will also be provided. Several demo pieces will be on hand as well to show the breadth of possibilities.
Gourd Crafting
How about a little inspiration for Fall? In this class you will learn the basic techniques of preparing gourds and different techniques for decorating them. Paints and carving tools will be provided. Gourds will be provided as well and will be cleaned and prepped ahead of time.
