Students will learn to build and program LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT robots.

Beginner: Students ages 9 – 13 will learn to build and program the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT robots. This class is designed to guide students through building LEGO creations and programming them using the NXT robotics software.

Intermediate: Students ages 9 – 14 who have completed the beginner LEGO NXT class will be taken to the next level of building and programming. This class will reinforce the basic skills of building and programming NXT ‘bots and challenge and encourage their creativity as they build and program robots for more specific and challenging tasks.

Challenge: Students ages 9 – 14 who have completed the intermediate course, will find the advanced class will challenge them to put all of their skills in building and programming LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT robots to the test. Students in this class will form teams and compete with each other to solve the challenges presented in this year’s LEGO competition. Trophies will be awarded to the top teams.
